    While Van Dijk has improved massively since signing for you but back in his Southampton days Vardy used to run rings around him

    Im not saying that will happen but it will mean Vardy wont fear him but Vardy is smart. He will look for a weakness in your defence and thats where he will target

    No player should fear a opposition player. Don't deserve to be on the same pitch if they're scared. Being clever is different.

    I reckon we're dropping points in this one tbh. In particular I'm thinking back to the days where Rodgers benefited at Liverpool by having a week's preparation while the opposition played in midweek.

    I really do hope we win though as it would be great to go to OT with our 100% record intact.

    So much so that he rivals Messi and Ronaldo for Europe's top prizes.
    I rate Vardy enough for me to think he'll be smart enough to take the line of least resistance.
    I think this game will be our toughest test of the season so far.

    Will Matip play, I would be happier if he did. That said, Gomez has speed and Vardy is very fast. Thought Gomez made a lot of errors against Salzburg but he needs game time

    He's right, they have a very well rounded team with quality in every position and a decent bench. Yes we're better but need to take them seriously or it's going to go tits up.

    Those that have us down as possible top 4 contenders after last weeks game against Newcastle obviously didn't watch it, that was all about how shocking Newcastle were.

    I don't see us being able to keep you guys out, you've had your shake midweek, so no doubt they'll have doubled their efforts for this one.

    C'mon lads, give us a point, or i'll get Rodgers to double Klopps rent! :emoticon-0100-smile

    When we needed Brendan Rodgers most last year to get a draw from city last year, he failed. Sincerely speaking his team tried their best before Kompany scored.We need our three points tomorrow too.<laugh>.

    We've been shaky for 3-5 games now. We were very lucky to get the 3pts against Sheff Utd, struggled against Chelsea and we lost to Napoli. The MK Don's game inbetween wasn't great but nor was it our proper team.

    From the interview I heard, Klopp said "maybe, maybe not" which imo equals no. Even if Adrian does cost us the game, better that than Alisson getting injured again because we rushed him back.

    I find it absolutely incredible, that on the space of a couple of seasons 100 points is required to win it.

    Its testament to city and our quality that such a total is required, has there ever been two such high quality teams in the league ever?
