Off Topic Cricket fans?

I found a cricket forum page on here but its not been added to in a few years!

Anyone else have an interest in it?

 

Me, huge fan.

There was a thread on here a while back which had a few bites but nothing major.

 

I'm still finding my way round on here.

See the wonderful Hundred draft thing started today. cant wait to not see the red ball England players in their franchise colours

 

And me. I think the skills exhibited in test match cricket is one of the world's greatest wonders.

 

I've zero interest but have received this message from a friend who works for SAFC. He helps me, and therefore other supporters, with tickets, info, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Do u know of anyone with a membership at Durham (cricket)? I'm looking for a couple of members who aren't going to the England Australia 20/20 next year."

 

Im sure Brandon on RTG is a member at Durham, not that helps as you and I are both banned so cant message and ask him

Recently have preferred to watch a good 20 / 20 as opposed to a over hyped sky football borefest

 

One of the joys of this summer was TMS at work or in the car and cricket on the TV when working from home

Love the game. Particularly test match cricket and the one day internationals. Bizarrely not a massive fan of 20/20. I watched with fascination the outcome of the Ashes test matches. Two very good teams yet at times both showed how bang average they were. Superb watching though.

 

Going to England versus Windies at Birmingham next summer and the twenty twenty at Durham.

 

Love cricket, not convinced about the 100.

 

The only possible saving grace is its on normal TV.

Saying that I don't think you can replace the excitement the Ashes brought. I spent hours glued to either the radio or TV throughout

 

I will find it tough watching Stokes effectively playing for Yorkshire.

 

There was absolute meltdown on bbc sport after the first drafts of the squads were named for this 100. Bet they were saying the same things about 20/20. See how it goes. The biggest names playing, on terrestrial tv. Weather permitting it should be a good crack.

 

Not a massive cricket fan apart from when England are playing.
