Was bricking it at the end, seemed like they would equalise for sure.....

Nice to get back to winning ways and even better if we get back to back wins by beating Stoke at the weekend.

We needed that. We play much better when we play the better top sides and not so good against sides we should be beating especially at home. A strange event with us..<laugh>

Sloppy start, evenly matched first half. Our goal nothing spectacular, nice finish from decent build up.

We started better second half, and our second was well deserving. We then knocked the ball about very nicely, no real penetration. Borja worked his socks off, Charlton looked out on their feet at one point and we were in full control, but then we got a case of the gitters last 5mins and it was backs to the wall effort.

We just edged the win and it was a deserved.

We have 21 points from the 30 on offer so far in the league, winning six and drawing three of our 10 league fixtures to date whilst tasting defeat once , not shabby stats

Thread on Planet Swans has reported that a 20 year old young man who loved the Swans went to Charlton and didn't make it home.

    RIP Kyle <rose>

It was funny reading this thread after the event... especially at 1 - 0! I would have been as annoyed as well though

What a fantastic result and merited I think looking at the highlights. Are Coops and Ayew an item now? <laugh>

I was going to say "back on track" but we never actually came off (a slow down maybe, just some of us fearing the worst).

I cannot wait for the Cardiff game :emoticon-0178-rock:

Edit: funny sidenote: I visited the GP today (nothing serious) and it was an Indian fellow I'd not seen before. As I was leaving he clocked my accent, I said I was from Swansea and he said "great result last night"!

Got my tickets early!! Nothing but a win will do, not saying that the scoreline matters, but 5-0 will do nicely............<laugh>

Lee Bowyer has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3 following the EFL Championship fixture between Charlton Athletic and Swansea City on October 2nd.

It is alleged that the manager’s language – both on the field and in the tunnel area at the end of the fixture – amounts to improper conduct and/or questioned the integrity of the match referee.

He has until 6pm on October 9th to provide a response.
