    Yes against Stoke Nil.
Got the monkey off of Udders' backs, so we might win now.

Sheffield Wednesday have delusions of grandeur. I’m not sure they’ll be troubling the play off places this season. Thought they were very poor.

Just got in, no better feeling than that; we won, clean sheet, Eaves scores, and it was Wednesday!

And, my good deed of the day, helping an old gent out tonight! Just about to go thro turnstile, an old guy was quite distressed, his pass was in his trouser pocket and his zip was stuck. He couldn’t get it out and asked if I could help. Couldn’t get the zip moving, but luckily remembered I had spare pass with me tonight, so lent him mine to get him in. He had been watching City for 67 years, and wasn’t hopeful of result tonight, so hope he enjoyed it. The match I mean.

Edit - I know doesn’t sound quite right, but my intentions were honourable!

Timely morale booster for Eaves St Laurent. What a shame Les Mutrie isn't still around to mentor him on how to hold the ball up, hold off big strong defenders with his back to the goal and play in team mates. Hopefully Eavesy can kick on now and maybe even consider a consultation at Stan Leeman's.

Fleming was very impressive tonight, a very confident and intelligent young player. He will hopefully beef up and get a bit faster. If he does, he could be as good for us as Robbo was. Both have that similar steely determination that tbh not all our squad have..

Long also continues to improve and gain confidence, and good to see Batty back - another feisty young larker who can go a long way with us.

Pleasing to see the players' joy at the final whistle in front of the E, and also GM come on to show his appreciation of their efforts.

Comedy highlight of the evening: the two SWFC larkers on the touchline in front of the E, covering their mouths with their hands as they relayed top secret tactical info to each other. How the crowd laughed!

EDIT: Or was the comedy highlight that incident in the first half when the visiting fans roared like they'd scored a goal at the S end, but it barely entered our 6 yard box? .

Quite an entertaining match tonight. Teams well matched with their weak points. Dave neutralised Kamil quite effectively, forgot how fast he was, he makes it look effortless. Bannan’s a feisty wee bastard, but we managed to contain him ok.

City did well when they passed quickly, but Jackson is still hit and miss with his passes and Kamil needs more practices with his corners - wtf is wrong with those two at the moment? Defence was good - Lichaj was my MoM. Reese is like one of those supermarket trollies when he crosses the centre line and he comes to a screeching halt, he’s not a natural to bring the ball forward, but he did good in front of goal. Pleased for Eavsey and hope now he’s broken the seal, goals will flow.

What was going on with the A63 tonight? Drove down it earlier today, no notice of road closures nor nothing on Waze, but a total disaster this evening. Took half an hour to get from HRI to Hessle once we worked out what was going on and dived down Hessle Road.

Just got back to Sheffield.... We'll chuffed with that! Good all round performance, all the back 5 were great, handled niuhu well. Stewart is a beast in cm. Weds we're horrible, can't remember having seen as much hoofball, was like warnock and pulis had a lovechild managing rather than Gary monk.

Thought magennis was alright tonight too, service to gime wasn't great but he put a shift in and got on the end of a fair few long balls with nice lay offs, eaves really needed that goal, cracking finish.

A really good win and has made my day waking up to this news that we won. I'm very pleased for Eaves, that was some header, he had a lot to do and executed it perfectly. Also great to hear Fleming had a good game, hopefully, he can keep his place.

Always nice to get one over on Wednesday, so onto Huddersfield. I see they got an away win at Stoke last night, but everyone seems to be beating them these days, so I guess you can't read too much into that result. Nevertheless, it will give them a confidence boost, so going there won't be easy.
