I can take losing if I feel we gave it our best and were set up right. But Poch's insistence on playing this god awful diamond makes no sense. When it goes wrong, we can all see what the root cause is yet he can't. His subs rarely ever make sense and come too late. Tactically, he's made a complete mess of this game and we're being totally humiliated at home. And now it's 7-2. **** this ****!
Sorry guys but I suspect the next 4 or 5 days on here are gonna be filled with a combination of knee jerk drama and hyperbole so I am not gonna be around..... Planning to kill myself as life watching Aurier and the Mars bar kid is just too deep
We’re in trouble here lads. I thought things were looking up after the fight we saw at the weekend but this just isn’t good enough. It’s a ****ing embarrassment. I can take poor performances from players, as much as I moan about some of them. We all do. But the mental side of the game, the game management, the sense that they all just feel sorry for themselves when they concede and just let another one go again. That’s absolutely unacceptable.
I'm really concerned Poch has lost the dressing room. That second half was a disgrace, no fight, no closing down and a bunch of ****ing clowns playing defence.
Is Pochettino trying to engineer a sacking ?? Either that or he has got a bad dose of Wenger-itus (the "diamomd" ) .
The squad mentality is now firmly at AVB levels. Can Poch turn it around? I believe he can. Will Levy give him the time and funds to do so? I doubt it.
What makes you think Poch can turn it around? Imo he’s been exposed big time. The diamond in midfield and alienating players is basics that he just can’t master.
Quite honestly, we're now paying the price for our lack of transfer activity and squad development from two years ago. We've stupidly allowed the same players to be run ragged week in week out, and in many cases, contracts to run down to the point where they are no longer interested and want out. We said this would happen two years back so is this really a surprise?
That’s the thing, I’m starting to doubt for the first time whether Poch actually can do it. Especially as there isn’t anyone really in the dressing room who’s the type to get someone by the scruff of the neck and read the riot act. Kane’s a leader and clearly takes this stuff seriously but he’s not Roy Keane.
