    Cardiff ordered to pay Nantes the initial £5.3m of the Emiliano Sala fee

    What I can't get my head around is their attempts to claim he wasn't a Cardiff player so they wouldn't have to pay a penny...in spite the club announcing his signing, complete with a photoshoot and unveiling video saying otherwise

    Also not wanting to accept responsibility for what happened - which is a bit difficult when they club engaged with an agent banned from operating in the UK to sign a player, and seemed happy to let that same agent make insane suggestions like apparently asking the first bloke they could find at the local aerodrome fly him back in his tiny single prop on a stormy night rather than put their foot down and state the player they just agreed a £15m fee for would fly back to Nantes on a form of aviation that is a bit more advanced than what the Wright Brothers used

    When your performances are so bad that it makes Gervinho's tenure at Arsenal look like he was a prime Pires, it's clear that you're just not very good.

    Naturally, I hope he does eventually sort himself out and come good, but my word. He has been absolutely atrocious in most games. Emery took far too long to bring him off, as well.
