True story from my past.

When I was 4 years old my gran bought a day old chick (going cheep) for a penny off a door knocker, it would be a nice Sunday lunch in a few months she said.
It never was, it grew into a bantom cock and used to walk to the corner shop with her and wait outside then walk her home.
When visitors came she used to put it in the yard but always left the dustbin next to the backdoor because if you needed the toilet you had to take the bin lid with you as a shield as it attacked you.
