It was nice to watch McCann's high depressing game today! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
They deserved at least a draw but disappointing the way it ended, thought Dr wijs, for me was motm Irvine worked hard but give the ball away to easy sometimes at very important times when we were making a break. Grosciki and Bowen would have loved a playmaker but unfortunately we don't have one. Overall it's another point but need more when we play at home.
Another game that I enjoyed , then heard on the radio how **** we were etc. Yeah , I'm disappointed we didn't hold on for the win as well but some of our fans are miserable bastards for sure
You'd think professional players would have it hammered into them that they need to defend right up to the last second, either they don't listen or they're thick. Probably a bit of both. How many teams concede right at the death just after they've just scored? I bet there were a dozen today. The fact that it seems to happen to us every other week is a massive kick in the family jewels. Get it sorted Terry. Or you can kiss that play-off place tat-tar.
I think the best word to cover both goals is naive. There seems to be a mentality of "X" player has it under control, unfortunately at this level I think you have to expect that 'X" player might not have it under control and act accordingly.
Best bit of advice I ever got...'If in doubt boot it out'...I think one T.McCann will have to revert to the basics..
Because he tends to have twenty or so minutes playing very wide on the right in Sth west corner, I couldn't be further away from him (in E2) and with my fading sight, would not recognise him at all. I just see someone going on a mazy run and know there'll be no end product and assume it's him
It had no bearing on the game ( though maybe we'd have gone into the Alamo mode earlier, but where did 6 minutes of injury time come from?
Chapeau to the Cardiff followers who came today. Don't know if it was subsidised travel or what but thay had double digit buses, and their vocal support was loud and good humoured. Considering most of them will have been to the KCOM before and they won't have many further games than us, it was impressive. All this on the back of a relegation too.
Hopefully Henriksen is allowed to leave the naughty step - I think him and Stewart in the middle would be a good pairing - personally I'd drop Irvine as he really does give the ball away too much
I asked that too - can only assume 4th official was calculating as 30 seconds per sub, per goal and then a couple of minutes for Magennis’ nosebleed
It was a fantastic pass for the player to run onto Lichaj had no chance to catch him And he was cutting back from the bye line Picked out a great pass Just one of those things
His first pass was straight to their centre forward He gave the ball away repeatedly and git caught in possession and tried to dive He also tackled Bowen at one point
He also dribbled into the penalty box on at least 3 occasions and won a few corners. Did your gammy knee mean you missed that?
