No mention of Donald saying in a later tweet he never goes back on a deal once it's made, as it is not the done thing. Complete fabrication by a paper that has an agenda against Mr. Donald.

 

Unreal how reporting standards have plumetted.

You may remember I posted, perhaps when you were on holiday, that journos were scanning the forums, for stories, and even posting so they can generate rumours and influence opinion.

I was ridiculed and called a liar, etc etc etc.

It's so easy isn't it. Create a bogus account and post a few harmless bits about football. Then post that you've been told the takeover is in jeopardy and there's your story.

He could have knocked that up in 5 minutes, what happened to cross referencing facts and interviewing people ?

I think you probably take more care posting on internet forums (which are basically the equivalant of gossip down the pub) than these supposed "journalists" take with their stories.

Incidentally I've had a message from a respected poster, who I've not met, but spoke to someone close to the club at the match today. He was suggesting that CM may not endure whereas SD is looking to put down roots.

However, neither may have their future in their own hands for long.

I'm amazed how quiet the O'Brien situation is tbh.

If, as Donald stated at Consett, his future is uncertain why would he appoint a new director ....
