We really needed that win. Good grafting considering the circumstances.

Grafted hard there, ten men for over an hour.

Front three were brilliant in the first half, defence and keeper were brilliant in the second. Good shifts from Winks and Tanguy in the middle, too.

Aurier + Lloris putting extra yards of effort into the squad legs
before the vital CL game against Munich. :(

Wage penalties for both if I was in charge.

You know Lloris is going to have one or two simlat howlers every season, good to have one of them in a match that we win :)

If Aurier isn't in the squad for Munich, you know that we don't want him cup tied for the January window.

AFAIK, the UEFA "cup tied" stuff no longer applies.

Remember that when you vote for player of the season. Having said that it's not his first time this season playing there as every time KWP or Big Dave has played there, Sissoko has had to cover.

41% possession and 4 shots on target

Big win but I don’t see many positives from today tbh.

Gotta be honest those stats go out the window for me when we're playing with 10 men, especially for as long as we did.

If that was the full 11 on the pitch I'd agree but we had to dig deep today being a man down, every single player put in a shift to make up for Aurier's loss. I can respect that.

Dug in but the quality that we have come to expect is definitely lacking

We’re like a Boxer who needs to steady them legs a bit after a few uppercuts of late I think so I’ll take this and run

I think today showed that the players can step up when called upon. They needed to show up to try and dig us out of Lloris & Aurier’s **** ups.

We could easily of crumbled today ( most of us were expecting us to), but we didn’t, we dug deep and held on, and defended brilliantly at times.

Back in the top four but l'arse are likely to displace us on monday night when they are playing a team in the bottom half of the table.
