I'd like to see that non-throw in again. It looked miles over the line (not excusing Aurier) but I'm not even sure the lino was looking down the line at the time.
I think there was contact, although Redmond made the most of it but for a player of Aurier’s experience he should know better. Two international captains - Aurier and Lloris - with costly mistakes. Front three thankfully bailing them out so far.
Worst thing is it’s not the first time. He just doesn’t seem to learn! Now every team is gonna go after him as soon as they see the ball at his feet.
Every time that we **** about with the ball at the back, I become a raving, snarling, frothing maniac. We are beyond **** at it. It hasn't improved one jot in the last few years. Your weaknesses need to be managed to insignificant levels, if you're going to succeed. Getting to a point where we're relying on Aurier and Hugo's footballing skills, just isn't acceptable, given what we know about them. If we don't win this, I'm starting on about the complete madness of putting Big Vic on the bench...
I don’t think Aurier is a bad footballer, but he needs somebody to find him a brain. Lloris! Words fail me.
Good game from NDombele Just needs to get up to PL speed and then we can enjoy him most weeks I reckon
If we're to compete with Liverpool and Man City then, like them, we need a keeper that's good with his feet. It would make us less nervy at the back and could get us up the field quicker. As good a shot-stopper as Lloris is this part of his game really lets him down.
