I wouldn’t discount the Bokke - they lost the first battle against the ABs but they may yet win the war .... <cheers>

They were good, certainly and are in a lot of peoples top two to win it. We know they won't bottle anything, so you could be right <ok>

p.s. Another citing - for an England player.

I f Wales can put on a commanding performance against the Aussies then i will believe we will have a good chance of winning the WC.. NZ are the only top team we have not beaten in recent times and i believe that the gap between NZ and the Home nations is not as wide as it once was for 3 teams. However things pan out this is Wales best chance for glory and i hope Gatland can work his magic before he leaves for pastures new....

Well that was fun! I'm loving this WC  With all due respect to Ireland, it's SA and NZ in the semis.

I was very pessimistic about the Aus game but I'm starting to feel confident for some reason, can't wait <cheers>

I've never been so relieved at the end! That second half it looked like Aus were going to mug us again. Immense defence from the mighty Cymraeg <cheers>

Shame the games are on so early, I could have done with a few drinks to calm my nerves there!

Edit: the officiating's a concern, how the hell is a blatant shoulder charge off the ball not a yellow?

We’d have lost this game 12/18 months ago.

    Got to top the group

    Definitely - on both points!

I thought Aus were superb second half and an Eng v Aus quarter will be hard to call. But if Aus have learnt from that game, selection wise and about playing their own game (2nd half) and not pandering to the opposition (start), then I can see them beating Eng. That is of course if Eng win their group! (which they really should).

Started the morning a bit :emoticon-0107-sweat.

    Half time was definitely :emoticon-0137-clapp.

10 minutes to go and <yikes> was order of the day.
When the final whistle went :1980_boogie_down:.

Just re- watched the game with a couple glasses of red. Definitely:emoticon-0103-cool:.

Still a job to do to top the group, but the squad has plenty :emoticon-0146-punch.

A nice rest period before the next game.:emoticon-0141-whew:

A bit more :emoticon-0165-muscl and we're home and hosed. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Time for :emoticon-0113-sleep.

Nicola Sturgeon is demanding that Scotland should be allowed to play Ireland again ..... she didn’t like the result of the first match.....

Yes, it's been a cracking WC so far!

Scotland did what they had to today, helped by a woeful Samoa, so that's going to make for some fun matches to conclude that group
