Got to go all out in the cup, because it would make winning it even sweeter if we beat Pompey 4-0 in their own back yard in a cup winning cup run.
it would make winning it even sweeter if we beat Manchester City in their own back yard in a cup winning cup run. This also works pretty well.......
Liked this because as a lifetime cat collector I do understand the pain One of our 4 (and no that's not an f**king joke/pun) is currently just holding on with acute pancreatitis. I'm trying to gently prepare the kids, who watch far too many supervet programs, for a sad outcome. Trust me it wont cure the pain, but the best thing to do is get another cat. They really are brilliant.
Just googled "when did Man City last lose at home?" Apparently, in 1429 the team was decimated by the Bubonic plague and they lost 1-0 to Undertakers Squidgy Feet Utd. Although there was no internet then a scroll has emerged in which the manager of USFU stated "we would have won 8-0 if they hadn't piled the bodies up in front of the goal" he then went on about needing some sort of video assistant referee but it was written in old English and no-one knew what the **** he was talking about
Haven't mentioned yet how enjoyable it was to watch a match without VAR, pure passion in the stands and excitement on the pitch with no sterile delays. Not to start an argument over it as I can't be ****ed really, but the thought of reliving those goals, first and third in particular, with a delay while var checked their validity makes me want to introduce me face to the business end of a flamethrower. I'm actually considering ****ing it off now till we go down, I've seen the pinnacle n not sure anything will ever come close.
well of course! I currently have 3 cats. I'm not good at remembering names so they are no. 2, no. 3 and no. 4. Sadly no. 1 passed away earlier this year but at least i won't have to bring up any more of her kittens. Why wasn't she spayed you say? you ****in try i say. Fortunately nos. 5, 6, 7 and 8 were found homes. No. 3 is a cutie. No. 2 is a grumpy older step sister. No. 4 will probably vote Tory
They were fourwarned they would be trounced and there was fear and fourboding in skate hearts on Tuesday befour kick off as the fourcast was for a Saints win. Fourtune favours the brave they say and Saints had the foursight to field a strong side. Pompey were fourtunate only to be thrashed by four goals.
I don’t think I was in anyway pretending such innocence of our own supporters as you suggest. I was merely commenting on my reactions as I watched the match. I think I’ve been around long enough to have seen mindless behaviour by supporters of most clubs, even though a minority in most cases. My point remains and whether or not they wear red/white or blue or whatever colour, such behaviour is unacceptable and clubs with the FA need to be more active in taking effective action on such people.
Thanks for all the sympathy regarding my cat, it's appreciated. I do have another cat, called mia. She's so lovely too and very beautiful but cassie was always more affectionate to me, and enjoyed cuddles more. Mia is very affectionate towards my mum and can be affectionate to me... Cassie was also more sociable, she'd want to be in people's company like a lot of the time. Plus I liked having two cats, they'd play, they'd fight, and it meant there was always one about somewhere.
