Villa got close more than once. Leicester, Swansea and Wigan have all been there, done it and got the T-shirt too.

Even Spurs reached a final recently.

So I ask you: which club will break their trophy fast first?

Depends on what league you're in.

If you mean top level then 2008 isn't that long ago.

A lot of teams have it much worse.

As a comparison here are the others clubs wait for a "major" trophy:

Villa: League Cup in 95/96 or Intertoto in 2001
    Bradford: FA Cup 1911
    Hull: Never
    Wigan: 2012/13 FA Cup
    Watford: 1982/83 League
    Millwall: Never.
    Sunderland: FA Cup 1973
    Spurs: League Cup 2007
    Stoke: League Cup 1971

Lots of clubs don't win major trophies due to the size of the club.

    Spurs really are overdue though!
