Yeah on reflection I've decided against driving, there's less street parking around the general area than I remember and don't wanna be wandering off from the kettle on my own too far around 11pm
I live on the edge of Dartmoor by a small town Okehampton. Totnes I know mainly from my cricket and football playing days but Dartmouth I love and try most years to take my caravan down for the Dartmouth Regatta and the kids loved Woodlands
I know Okehampton - nice town. Dartmoor is lovely, went there as a kid with my parents, when living on the outskirts of London. We used to stay at a small hotel at Strete Gate, near to Slapton Sands. Great holidays. My wife would like to move down that way to live now we are retired, but it would be a long journey to Fratton Park and back to see Pompey play, and I could never see me supporting Plymouth Argyle - Torquay perhaps !!
That is the only downside to moving to Devon/Cornwall boarder but as I still have lots of family in Southampton it makes travelling back good but only managed 3 Saints games last season but as I traveled the country for many years watching us through good and bad times I can live with that now and tv coverage and streaming makes it easier. Would never move back to a city. Great show from your guys last night but reminded me when I went to our 1-4 defeat at St Mary’s to you guys, I felt the score line didn’t reflect the passion and effort put in but quality usually has the final say.
