Comon mr Lansdown another loss,do you want to take the club down to league 1 for another stint with 10000 fans rattling around a 33000 stadium.

    Act now,whilst there is time.

we cant even beat a team who were playing with less players that us. Bet when they went down to 10 men they still had more players up front than we did

Seriously the amount of city fans who seems to think that Lansdown still has the power to pull the strings frustrates me, HES ISNT PART OF THE BOARD ANYMORE!!!! Sextone is the only man who has the power to sack Millen.

OfficiallyRed, that has got to be the most ridiculous statement I've heard for a long time...

The chairman is simply a figurehead, Steve Lansdown OWNS Bristol City - if he say jump, Colin says how high...?

Not true, Lansdown is the majority shareholder, his job is to pump money into the club, that is it! Sextone is the Chairman (Head of the board) he is the one who has the power to make the decision, not lansdown, he lost that power when he stepped down from the board and left Colin in charge!

Does it matter who is in charge, this is a time for all the board and the owner to do what is best for the football team that we all love and want to see doing well

OF, we will have to agree to disagree but I think you will find yourself in a minority of 1 if you seriously believe that Sexstone makes the decisions that count - he is a PUPPET...

Maybe he is a puppet and for what its worth i dont want him as chairman of our football club, but the facts are, HE is the 1 with the required power to sack Millen, not Lansdown! if he wants to listen to Lansdown and be a puppet, thats up to him, could prove to be a blessing in disguise for us.

I also believe Lansdown is the one calling the shots, and Millen has had his time so come on sort it out Lansdown/Sexstone.

At chelsea: chairman is Bruce Buck but Roman Abramovich who like SL owns their club and has the biggest say in what goes on.
At man utd: Malcolm Glazer bought the club and is in charge but his sons Joel & Avram Glazer are the named co chairmans.

Thats why SL has taken a step back but has put his son on the board.

the only thing saving millen at the moment is the fact we are 23rd but 2 points (at the moment) off of 13th so the board would look at it as one win and we would be midtable.

HE WHO HAS THE GOLD HAS THE POWER! (and thats SL)

For god's sake.. Get a grip we played well and lost, just get behind the bloody team. Before the game there were actually people posting that they hoped we'd lose so Millen was fired, call that supporting your team?! No manager worth his salt will come to a team with no money and fans that hound out the manager after less than ten games anyway. I can appriciate people don't like Millen but this is becoming very dull.

I agree Jambo, I've been reading this board this last week and been bored ****ing ****less with most posters coming out with the same bollocks.

Whilst I feel that Millen may not have the minerals to take our club forward it's quite interesting to note that none of the players are coming in for any criticism. Save for the odd token post pointing the finger in Sextones direction, it all seems to be Millens fault...

I know, I can't actually fault a lot of what Millen has done. He tried to get lots of players over the summer, the board couldn't afford them or didn't agree terms but that's his fault. Of the games we've lost, it's individual errors that are costing us. The midfield also don't move for the player in possesion. Marv etc are average at best and have been coasting for the past few years but seem to be untouchable and as soon as you criticise them it's apparetly the manager's fault. Millen can only do so much, however personally I would have sold Maynard. Not worth anywhere near the amount that was offered.
