People say not the best scoring record not been really given a go, no more than 10 games for any team, i seen him play for reserves and he was brilliant and also his few games for West Ham, its not much glowing praise but he has the ability to be better than or as good as Cole.
Carlton or Joe? Glowing praise anyway. Certainly the scoring record isn't great, but if he's making goals for others (hopefully as well as scorig a few himself) that's just as important. If things do start working out I hope that the loan deal does get extended - difficult for him to play more than 10 games in a month... and we need someone at least until January, probably longer. In an earlier post you commented "he will score goals given the right services" - I know he's a big unit, but what do you reckon is the best way to play the ball to him - on the ground or in the air (important given the way we seem to be playing at the moment). Brave move by West Ham (and FN). Here's hoping.
Carlton, he not really a Joe Cole build. He is good with his feet and his good at bringing the ball down, i cant remember how good he is with his head but i really think he could be a hit. As i said every loan so far except Spence and Barrara have been one month loans until October, but its thought they will be extended.
Thank lord we have another striker. VERY surprised it's him though considering Hall was touted as the other striker we wanted, and he chose another team over us and this lad having played in the Premier League. No complaints at all though.
