Watched The Day Mountbatten died last night. Very moving, and I will say it Murdering IRA scum were released and were still persecuting former British soldiers. Ridiculous.
Good post, even though it infringes OLM’s evenly applied no politics rule and will no doubt be deleted. Or maybe not.
Watched the first episode of Brassic on Sky, was fairly good. Think they've nicked the premise from the Trailer Park Boys on Netflix though
I've just finished watching The Vietnam War, which some recommended on here some time ago. It's definitely worth a watch, very detailed look at all aspects of the Vietnam war, with extensive footage from the time.
Ken Burns is a superb documentary maker. His stuff on prohibition, the American Civil War, Jazz, The Roosevelts and World War 2 among other things are all great. I think that Vietnam series though is his best work.
I've just finished watching it, fascinating, a lot of the battles were around where I am just now, so was of extra interest. I didn't realise how complicated the situation was here at that time.
Just watched the first two seasons of Narcos, what a show. Not sure why I've left it a few years since it came out. One of those ones like Chernobyl maybe that you think you know the outcome and don't watch, even though it's brilliant TV!
Dead in a week (or your money back) is worth a watch on Netflix Classic British film humour with Tom Wilkinson
I’ve only just got Netflix , not sure I’m using it to it’s full potential . All I have done so far is rewatch The Office and Extras
