Not sure how true it is but it apparently going to be announced tomorrow. His compensation package is supposedly getting discussed now.
Why did you do that? That's something I can't unseen in my minds eye now!!!! and I haven't had tea yet
I don’t want him back personally. His leaving with so little regard for us fans left a sour taste in my mouth. Then ****ing over the biggest job he’ll ever have
I don’t personally at the minute either, but I don’t think there was anything at all wrong with him leaving for the England job, a job he’d stayed was a dream for him for about 10 years.
I wouldn't want Allardyce back long term but until the rest of the season would make a lot of sense. If he took us up I think the calibre of choices for a long term manager would be much better than it would be now.
I really don't know mate, it feels foolish bandying names like Howe and Dyche around seeing as we're in league one, the takeover hasn't happened yet and as far as we know Ross is still the manager. If you're looking at more left field choices I honestly haven't got a clue who would be a good fit.
I haven’t a single name to throw in the ring mate. I’d assume there’s a man in place before we made a cut but I couldn’t wager a guess who it is. Everything does make you think Allardyce. There’s no other candidates that I can see. Some good managers have moved too recently to be realistic targets, it’s a dry well.
You'd think so wouldn't you, it would be an odd move to sack Ross without a replacement. I know he's got his issues but he's not exactly toxic, quite the opposite. I wouldn't be surprised if Nuno whatsisname at Wolves will be available by the end of the season judging by how they've started this one. Hell of a beard on him.
They won’t sack him. He’s got links to the 2 biggest agents in the world and that’s how wolves are getting players above their level. He’ll get them going anyway, too much quality to languish. He said himself before the kicked off Europa he needed a bigger squad, they’ll be right. Curveball could be someone like Carlos Carvahal, did good things at Swansea and Wednesday, managing a small club in Portugal at the minute. Previous for improving teams at this kind of level.
