True but clc/ferrari could have has a sort of record if he had won 3 races in a row after his first win.

Clc clearly disappointed but showing his maturity saying 1&2 to ferrari was great for team and 1st this season. I think 1&2 is first for a good few years!

Ferrari are not out of the championships yet .

For the record , I don't want them to win , but fair play in turning it around .

On the contrary. A win is a win, it will give him a huge boost to get over his previous poor form.

    Damon Hill also did that.

CLC could have been directly compared to him!

That was easily one of the worst races I've seen in a while, worse than France even.

That was perhaps the most sterile GP I have ever seen.

I missed the start and when I tuned I I thought they were following a safety car.

    They weren’t. <yikes>

Pretty ****e race as always here.

It was a good race from Seb, but obviously pretty lucky. I don't think a somewhat gifted win changes his situation much, but hopefully, it lifts his mood. Better for F1 if all the drivers are at their best.

Leclerc has every right to be angry, but it's a test for him to put it out of his mind for the next one. Ferrari looks like they can be competitive everywhere now. He will get his opportunity to prove he deserved it today.

I think Merc were hoping for an earlier safety car to stop Hamilton. Charles got shafted by his team but the team has taken some of the pressure of Seb in doing what they have done. Boring race at the front and I suspect not a popular winner, with some yes, but not as many as it might have attracted a few years back.
I was not entertained but guess the pack was shuffled a little and a gauntlet has been thrown down by Ferrari. .

Same hypocrites upset and outraged when MSC was given the win to secure a WDC early, are all hush hush whilst Bottas is told to slow down 3 seconds a lap in order to keep his teammate (who has a ****load of a points advantage) ahead. Go figure.

I don't like team orders at all but the teams are in it for the team. If they didn't use team orders and failed to win drivers as well as constructors they would look very silly to their share holders!
It's a sad thing but no real way to stop them other than 1 driver per team and then costs multiply massively.
To be fair I'm not sure Ferrari pitted Vettel early so he jumped Charles I think they were just covering options. Bottas was clearly told to make sure lewis came out in front!

    Oh what rubbish .

MS had every team built around HIM and HIM alone . Any team mate even got close , he got rid .

    Oh .

    Please name the hypocrites !

It was over 4th. Of course nobody cares.

When Bottas was told to move aside in Russia last year it was pretty awful.

    Return of the angry man........

Just to refresh your memory, MSC had advantage of team orders from the very first race of each season. At least Mercedes allow their drivers to race until one has a clear advantage.

Ferrari's mistake this year was doing the same for Vettel in the first few races, when their eggs were better off in the CLC basket (copyright Murray Walker).

    Must be a Ferrari thing......
