Swansea forward Aldo Kalulu (ankle) is the visitors' only absentee. The second-placed Swans expect defender Joe Rodon to be fit again. I assume the thread title should be City v Swansea. I pretty much agree with the suggested line up thus allowing Nagy and Kalas more recovery time. If they are ready I’d keep the same formation but replace Williams with Kalas and Massengo with Nagy. Diédhiou has until had to play a lone striker role, which I don’t believe is playing him in his natural position , we now have The personnel to play him alongside another striker, at least give a chance in this role and see what happens, Afobe getting injured also allows Semenyo the opportunity to shine, maybe play the two together at some point .
I guess so you have to excuse some of us old phartz … with so much going on we have to search around for active braincells ...lol ...that's my excuse anyway would hope for a draw at least considering ...
Swansea have started extremely well , they are on a good run of form, that said they lost their last match to Florest I believe. I hate doing predictions as usually put a jinx on them. If we can overcome the home nerves I think we can win this one, had Afobe been available I think we’d have won by a margin, as it is I still think we’ll sneak it.
interesting line up the 2 most/some on here expected to start are on the bench! Has Lee resorted to mind games??? Swansea would have had second even third guess that line up … plenty pace and a bit of trickery thrown in ...is the aim to go 3 up before half time? Think I will change my prediction

I know Swansea are a good side but yet again a disappointing loss of 2 points at home. However we are still in the playoff spots but our home form must improve if we are truly to make a challenge. Disappointed TBH.
Goals Goals Goals Not sure where there coming from in the future. Fammy missed three chances today. Wieman not going to score 15 goals. We would have won today with Benik Afobe playing. I would give Kasey Palmer a go up front with Fammy think he could score goals and cause problems. We are back to square one,in-fact with Taylor out on loan we are weaker. We were at Stoke last weekend and we got lucky with the sending off which changed the game in our favour. I think if he had stayed on the pitch the result would have been different. Listening too LJ on the way home, the impression he gave was a point was a good result with all the key players out injured. January is a long way a way I hope they can pull the rabbit out of the hat and bring a striker in as what is available is not going too keep the club in the top six.
Well I enjoyed the game, two good sides trying to play football, I thought Fam had a good game , especially in the first half once brought on, he faded a bit in the second , he created lots and his link up play was good, he looks much better when not payed as a loan striker. Massengo again belied his age, best player on the park by a mile. Both sides cancelled each other out somewhat, but both looked good on the counter. On balance a draw was a fair result.
From what I have read and heard and I state in public I don't go down to watch anymore (My choice) Williams is a magnificent signing and we should offer him an extension on his contract ASAP.
Considering the injuries this was a very good result Was not at the game (as was in London doing the Bermondsey Beer Mile for my friends 50th) so can't comment on the ins-and-outs, but I see this as a point gained
