Our away record this season has been terrible, Liverpool, Crawley, West Ham & now Burnley have all ended in defeat. Would be nice to see us pick up at least a point on our travels in the next few games against either palace or Bournemouth. Hope we get some of our injured players back soon
For all that we didn't play well, due in part to Burnley having done their homework, we were only the instep of Pope's left boot away from scoring the first goal, and the width of the post away from scoring a second. Burnley packed the penalty area much as we did against Man City (thereby paying us a compliment by the way), and neither Lewis nor Byram fared any better than Sterling and Bernardo when it came to putting in dangerous crosses. That left shooting from outside the area as the last resort weapon, but only Leitner appeared to get the message. Had he had the minutes needed to get fully into his rhythm, instead of having to start over again after injury, he might have done better with the two chances he got late in the game.
Its what we all feared, after the lord mayor's show. In the end we are still massively affected by injury, but we have got to up our performance away from carrow road this season
To say our top league is down graded when teams like Watford, Norwich, and quite a few more are in it and are nowhere near premiership quality just like Cardiff,Swansea and others were not premiership material when they were in it is shocking. The premiership should be cut into 2 divisions and play each other 4 times. The bigger better teams are being dragged back playing inferior teams. Change is needed if we are to have what is suppose to be the best league in the world....
You dont think you will be at the end of the season do you......Making up the numbers is just not good enough for British football in its entirety.....
