DF: "We had nine players out for Man City and not a lot has changed. Roberts is back. Grant Hanley had a normal week. He is fully fit. He would be fit to start. He has been back in team training for 10 days. Moritz for the past two days has been back in team training. He will travel with us to Burnley and he will be in the squad." Sounds like the same line-up to me, but it's good to have Hanley, Roberts and Leitner on the bench this time. Heise, Drmic, Srbeny and McGovern will probably be the others, as Fährmann picked up a groin strain in training and will be out for 7-10 days. It may be similar to West Ham, but Burnley don't have the same quality and I think it'll be close. The first goal could be key and with all of our four attacking players up to speed now we have a good chance.
Why would you consider that pairing "a luxury"? If Amadou is the player I think he is (we all know what Leitner brings), it would be no more a luxury than say, Makelele at Chelsea, or Kante at Leicester, single-handedly bearing the brunt of defensive work while paired with a primarily creative midfielder.
It would be at present, given our dearth of first choice CB's. That's what I means a fully fit squad to select from.
Anyone got the luxury of English commentary on a stream? I have only found this http://myfeed2all.eu/watch/746928/4/watch-burnley-vs-norwich-city.html
Looks like Burnley are taking the Crawley and West ham approach just kicking us off the park. Another off injured
Well ....... Terrible opening 30 minutes but much credit to Burnley, they have pressed high and stopped Norwich playing from the back. A better 15 minutes towards the end of the half and Mo Leitner was unlucky to hit the post. If Norwich can stop giving the ball away, I think there is still something for the taking here
