Don't think we've actually been all that good on attack, honestly. Good in spurts for sure, but not consistently.

But I'm not really that angry or disappointed either. So far we've been about what I expected. We'll look okay at times, ****ty at others. We'll get a couple lucky wins and some unlucky losses.

I think hopefully, we should start to seem some slow improvements as the season wears on. As long as we stay up, that's all I'm hoping for this season. At least solidify some positions and some kind of effective tactic and give ourselves something to build on and not get dragged into the relegation zone.

I was just about to type that we need to get Boufal the ball more.

 

I don't know why Cedric has got into this team again, should have got rid for whatever a club offered. Reed etc have left Saints with so much ****.

 

Indeed. I've seen enough of Saints this season to realise that they are not as good as many of you were confidently claiming before the match, and they certainly aren't as bad as you're making out at 2-0 down.

Nobody saying we’ve been terribly bad today. In fact saying not bad at all attacking. But we’re playing to type at the back.

 

I accept there are problems at the back. Danso, for example, is having to be given time to get upto speed. I suspect the game may be quite fast for him at present.
