Didn’t locking fuel caps ever make it to WALES?

 

They had hubcaps, too, back in your day.

 

The old bikes just had screw caps. Good money from what I remember or we'd get the guy to buy us beer from the shop.

 

Never any interest in that down this way.

 

Breaking into pub cellars and using a stick to make the beer shoot out so that we could drink it.

It's occurring to me that my childhood is not looking very legal at this point.

 

It’s seems you spent your youth stealing in order to feed your alcohol habit.

That was one of life's little luxuries taking back the lemonade bottles and getting a bar if chocolate

We used to hand the bottles in then in a day or two we'd hop over his yard wall, nick them and hand them in again

Glass milk bottles. We used to get 4 delivered every day. Had to get up before the blue tits filled their boots on the cream. Early was the key. I was one of 4 boys. My breakfast was 4 wheatabix with the cream off each of the four bottles and a heaped dessert spoon of sugar on each. How the **** did I survive???
