Really disappointed the EU tried to humiliate Johnson yesterday, even to the extent of hiring 'rent a crowd'.

Indeed. Doing that just goes to show what they are like. Clearly the crowd was going to be vocal, so whats the point in doing an interview if no one can hear you and that they would just try to embarrass you? Boris did the right thing and no attend. That would have wound up the crowd. Took a day off work for nothing. But as that then wound up the Luxembourg PM, he had to try and embarrass Boris instead. I think this would probably support Boris's case to leave asap with voters.

Blimey, Gina Miller's solicitor likes the sound of his own voice doesn't he. He has been banging on for nearly 2 hours now. All he has to do he show proof Boris has lied, making the prorogation unlawful. Going on for this long, shows either they are severely clutching at straws or hoping to bore the 11 judges to submission!

I think you'd find the average guy like you and I would be far more protected under a US of Europe than a US of America! No healthcare, institutional racism, being sued for looking the wrong way at somebody... I do agree with you to an extent though, culturally of course we're far more similar to the latter.

they reckon this will take 3 days to "give evidence" I would assume that with so much to troll through they wont be able to make a decision for at least 4 -6 days!
tried to follow it but hey that's impossible as going by the para's and sub para's with tabs and pages plus the fact a lot of info is on usb sticks!!!!!
wonder what that woman behind the QC is doing on her phone been on it the whole time!

It doesn’t have to be a choice between the two , we will still be European , geographically the EU will still be our nearest neighbour, like squabbling siblings a little distance mean you often get on better. We will be free to strike deals with both, as well as many others.

Yeah we’ll see how that goes. Particularly if we renege on what we owe the EU.

If a deal is agreed we won’t renege on anything, that’s what a deal involves, both sides agreeing terms , if we don’t agree a deal potentially we won’t pay over and above what we have to by law, equally we won’t enjoy the benefits a deal would provide, the EU will not allow us the benefits of being in n the EU whilst being outside, they cannot expect us to continue to pay whilst not enjoying those benefits, why would we , that doesn’t make sense.

It would be like buying a season ticket , but not being allowed into the ground.

If we come out without a deal 31st Oct or whenever, it will be on both sides interests to negotiate a new deal. I would expect the EU to negotiate certain payments as part of the new deal, equally we would negotiate benefits , maybe zero tariffs for example, if we are already paying anyway we have less to negotiate with.

I think they are making it deliberately difficult to prevent other countries wanting out also. I also believe once we are out and tempers and egos have had time to settle down, on both sides, a new deal will be struck that benefits both sides as economically it makes sense for both the EU and the U.K.

Doesn't surprise me at all to read this. Another bullshitter in parliament. He has been in 3 different parties this year alone which shows no loyalty to his leaders and party. Just another corrupt politician at the end of a long line full of them.

Guy Verhofstadt, is a Belgian politician in the European parliament. He is heavily involved in the Brexit negotiations for the EU with the UK as he is the Brexit Coordinator.

Boris refused to do the interview in Luxembourg, you know, the interview that was a trap/stunt to embarrass Boris in front of the worlds press. They had set up the podiums for the interview (between Boris and the Luxembourg PM), right next to the protestors, knowing full well that they were going to be very vocal as they had been since they arrived. They could have quite easily move the location of the interview but no, they didn't. So Boris refused to do it. But the Luxembourg PM wanted to still try and embarrass Boris by doing the interview without him. Boris was very clever here not to put himself in that position and in that same process he has made the EU look bad for putting him in that position. Remember, the EU wants a deal with Boris, yet they are not acting like they want a deal.

Then you get Guy Verhofstadt, tweet this..... Remember he is heavily involved in the negotiations between the EU/UK as he is the Brexit Coordinator. This just made the EU look even worse. It certainly made me feel like I want no deal even more now. Wonder how talks will go next time he is in the room.

What a complete bellend this prat is....

This is what he tweeted after

I wouldn’t go so far as to say he’s corrupt but have never liked his policies, even as a Labour voter when he was a Labour politician, I find him arrogant and condescending. Plus I really dislike MPs who feel they can switch parties without givinf the people who voted them in the opportunity to say whether they agree with their choice, if they feel strongly enough to change parties they should have a bi election and stand for their new party, allowing their constituents the opportunity to vote.
