He doesn’t keep it tight. He has zero positional awareness and vacates his space often. He and hendo do not work well together. Anyways, I’m still confident we’ll win.
Its incredible he’s made a career considering all his flaws and fact he’s played and won titles for city and us under 2 of the best managers.
Reasonably happy with the team, much will depend on how much the fb can get forward. Hopefully with such a workmanlike midfield they will be given freedom to attack, knowing milner or Henderson can drop in.
Not really sure what to expect tonight. TBH if you told me we were only gonna win one game this week, I'd want that win to be the Chelsea game. Still, we owe Napoli one after last year.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...i-claims-club-blackmailed-ultras-tickets.html Italy really is going backwards
Add that onto the fact that Cagliari haven’t been punished for racist chanting at lukaku (3rd time they’ve done it) and an Italian pundit was sacked for making racist comments about lukaku have to wonder when fifa or uefa will actually take some action on Italy as a whole. Just seems to be horrible set of fans in every aspect.
Seems we're going for a combative midfield more than a creative one. I'm ok with that, as the front 3 are more than capable of cashing in on whatever chances come their way.
I agree. Although I want us to win every game we play, we really can't afford to drop points in the league, whereas a loss tonight wouldn't be a total disaster.
It's like it's just accepted as part and parcel in the Italian game. Youd think the clubs would want something done as the the whole league has a negative aura around it. Back in the day the Italian league was something special, it's not spoken about now.
Attitude will play a huge part, last year we didnt look arsed, it showed in the performance and the game was God awful as a result.
