I have changed my mind. I want a clean break. No deal Brexit. ONLY if what I just heard is actually correct from Farage. Seeing its from Farage, makes it a bit suspicious but if it is true, a no deal Brexit is the only thing I now want.

Farage had an interview on the breakfast show Good Morning Britain. It was good interview! I only listened to it as I was expecting arguments but it was actually was a good interview with no arguments!

What I found very interesting and what has now made me want a no deal Brexit, was at the end of the interview. Farage said he will be prepared to work with Boris ONLY if Boris goes for a clean break no deal Brexit. When asked what happens if the EU blinks and agrees to a deal with Boris, would Farage be happy with that. Farage said no. No because he has seen the letter from Boris back in August saying if the backstop was removed, the rest of May's and the EU's original deal would be acceptable. And Farage is 100% against that deal.

So if that's the deal Boris is trying to get, then I want no deal because that deal was terrible and is far worse than remaining in the EU as we are.

So the Lib Dems official stance now is if they win a GE, they will revoke article 50. No 2nd referendum to allow people to vote on it, just scrap the whole thing. They are saying they will treat a GE as a 2nd referendum. If they get a majority based on revoking article 50, they say it will give them the mandate to remove article 50 without the need to consult with the public again. So they are pretty much treating their manifesto on just Brexit.

This stance will go down very will with Remainers. They will take a lot of Labour votes.

Brexiteers will go for Tory if they want a deal or go for Brexit Party if they want no deal.

So Leavers will have a split in their voted for the 2 parties. While Remainers only have 1 real party to stay which is Lib Dems. Labour will be in massive trouble.

I don't think Labour voters in the north will vote Tory whatever anyone says, Theresa May made that mistake 2 years ago.

I'm useless and unable to upload anything but I'd love to post the video of Paddy Ashdown on the night of the referendum.
Not sure how Swinson can sleep at night.

The one where he said even if it’s 1% swing they must recognise the vote?

Ironic thing is their name is based on the word democracy, but they don’t want to honour it?

Funny enough, this happened today..... (Taken from the Express)

Jo Swinson has been humiliated after a 2016 video of former Liberal Democrat leader Paddy Ashdown saying he will not forgive anyone who doesn’t accept the Brexit vote was shared online.

The 2016 video taken during the vote count has resurfaced as Ms Swinson announced the Liberal Democrats will revoke Article 50 if they get into power as Prime Minister Boris Johnson has previously called for a snap general election twice. In the video, Lord Ashton, who died in 2018, said it is the duty of politicians to carry out the referendum vote whatever the outcome as he the democratic system cannot run if politicians don’t accept the democratic judgment. Its latest appearances appearance on social media comes as Ms Swinson has faced huge amounts of criticism calling her “undemocratic” for plans to revoke Article 50 despite 17.4million people voting to leave.

Speaking to ITV news after polls closed on the Brexit vote, Mr Ashdown had said: “Those who asked for this, and I was the first leader ever to ask for a referendum in 1989/90, have said so because they believe in the act of democracy. I will forgive no one who does not accept the sovereign voice of the British people one it has spoken whether it’s by one percent or 20 percent. It’s our duty to serve the public and make sure our country does the best it can with the decision people have given us."

Is this the video Redprintt?? Enjoy :)

If they see a GE as a 2nd referendum and they don’t win then surely It must mean they will therefore finally accept we have voted to leave and stop trying to block it?

Nope. Also confirmed today, the Lib Dems will still campaign and fight against Brexit - even AFTER we have left!

Ed Davey - Deputy Leader of the Lib Dems - said today on the Politics Live show... that if we leave the EU with a deal, as Boris says will happen on 31st October, then there will be a GE afterwards and the Lib Dems will be the party to REJOIN THE EU!!!!! He said we wouldn't yet fully have left the EU at that point because there is at least a 2 year transition period and throughout that whole period he thinks it would be right to campaign to rejoin, which we could do at little cost.

Hear for yourself. Go to 22 minutes 57 seconds and listen for just 40 seconds.

would that quicker than womble et al north of the border?

Does he think it will be that easy! he is delusional we have a negotiated deal at the present .. when we leave and enter the transitional period we will have WSC, so would need to renegotiate. Does his addled brain actually think we will get the same or a better deal? no way . all of our beneficial agreements we have now will be history and the path ahead will be more costly and there are new rules /regs about to come in next year that will make it even more less of a sovereign state for us ...

Confirmation that this madam is yet another 2 faced, self serving politician who changes Party & views to suit her own agenda of self advancement. I hope she's heading for a fall very, very soon.

Any right minded individuals want this

If you’re happy to give up our sovereignty to a United States of Europe, here is the evidence of the direction of travel.
