Hello, team. Let’s hope this one goes to post this time. Mr Charlton takes a very interesting one to Chepstow, tomorrow, for its handicap bow. COCHISE (5.20) is a nicely bred sort being a son of the Listed placed mare, Ship’s Biscuit (peak rating 100). After 3 runs in maiden / novice heats, over distances ranging from 10-12 furlongs, the old boy is stepped up to 2 miles tomorrow and runs off his introductory perch of just 64. This stamina test should suit as his dam stayed 2 miles no problem. Furthermore, Cochise’s half-brother Mekong (peak rating 110) has certainly upheld family tradition by being a multiple winner and Group placed over 16 furlongs. Now launched into handicaps and stepped up in trip I would expect Cochise to prove much better than his rating and as a result hopefully oblige at Chepstow. The only negative is that I do feel the contest, of the morrow, is a stronger one than the heat Cochise was taken out of at Carlisle last week. Hopefully, though he will prove up to the task. Good luck all.
3.00 Redcar- Tadaawol- 5/1 Won this race last year off the same mark, has had a very similar prep too. Although his form has dipped in the last month or two. He started the season very brightly with I reckon an eye on coming back to win this race. He is a decent price and expect him to take the glory once again
afternoon, fellas! redcar,2 00: the two with experience, river cam and flight of thunder, are by no means bullet-proof on form,so this might well go to a newcomer, and it could be fought out by LINCOLN GAMBLE and rebel soldier boy..both hail from yards, that do very well with juveniles, and theyre hard to split, but the fahey yard continues to bang in the winners,so the former gets a narrow nod today.
It went to a newcomer. You just didn’t look far enough down the betting board. 17/2 from 25/1 so the winner not unfancied.
THEBAN AIR 5/1 Chepstow 4:20 Was meant to win last time but got squeezed up and jockey thought it had gone wrong thus pulled up quickly. Young Fallon on today and can beat the fancy two in front of the market. I also like Fallons ride in the last, TRIBAL COMMANDER who has been backed by his shrewd yard.
With the Champions League back this evening it would be rude not to have wee flutter. Inter Milan have started Seria A well and should take care of Slavia Prague at home. Chelsea have seemed to have found their groove under Lampard and they should win at home against Valencia who sacked their manager recently. I've backed both teams to win -1 at 6/1.
Tammy first scorer in the Chelsea game boosted to 5/1. He on fire at the moment. (Until next weekend hopefully)
newcastle,6 00: a tight little race, where all five have some sort of chance, but i think,WISE RULER is still well treated for his last win,as he certainly wasnt stopping at the end,so a 4 lbr rise looks fair.should get this trip too.
