Got to remember we’re the cup final of all those teams so 13 points from 7 games wouldn’t be too shabby.
Completely agree. If we can pinch 15 points then we are in a fantastic position going into November which, on paper, looks an easier month. Of course, this is the Championship and anything can happen.
I got 28s on Norwich beating city yesterday. Only had a fiver on it as I thought it was a through away bet
Anyway great 3 points away from home in a Yorkshire derby. Time to start Eddie and Costa going forward. I think they've proved there worth from the bench.
Bamford got stuck into Bielsa when he was subbed, told Bielsa he got it wrong. Bamfords had too many chances and hasn't proven to be a vicious striker, he's a nearly striker. Nearly strikers don't get teams promoted.
As they say it's a good thing when players are unhappy at being subbed, I agree, should have played with Eddie, not replaced by Eddie.
Their is the possessive of they, as in "They live there but it isn't their house." Here you want to indicate that the house belongs to them. They're is a contraction of they are, so that to say, "They're over there in their new house" means "They are over at that place in the new house that belongs to them."
Bielsa sold Pontus for arguing with him. Bamford will have to shut it now after Eddie came on and scored! On another note, how many points are we getting deducted for crowd trouble again?
Just pointing out,it's a bit different being upset at being subbed, and being 1000 miles away from training.
Had to stop watching at 75 minutes to take junior to the airport, but by then I was frustrated to hell. Barnsley pressed high and disrupted our flow in midfield, and they could easily have had a couple by then, thanks Mr Casilla. I can't comprehend how people paid £20k a week to do nothing but kick a ball into an 8 yard wide goal are so totally unable to hit the feckin' target. Even the commentator picked up on Bielsa's 5 chances to score one goal complaints. We came good in the end because Costa and then Nketiah added a quality and incision completely absent in the first half. Anybody looking back at that performance and feeling comfortable about it should take another look, I bet Bielsa's fuming. We struggled to break down a young, spirited and inexperienced team who stuck to a game plan, one certain to be copied by others going forward. The funniest thing was that their time-wasting from the word go backfired on them in the end - karma! Course I'm happy to be top and we've played some great football, but today was a grind when it needn't have been. Costa needs to start, and either Bamford or Eddie will benefit from the chaos he creates, but on today's showing Paddy should be the more worried of the two. Ok rant over - first time this year I've been really annoyed watching the team, and we still came away with the points, but we need to be more clinical in front of goal.
As there seems to be a significant amount of bleating on here today I shall give you this to ponder... In 56 matches under Bielsa we have never been lower than 4th in the League. Get a grip of yourselves you moaning minnies.
Awful game, great result and great substitutions at the right time. Eddie and Costa surely worth their starting places now. Without those two being introduced, we’d be lamenting a scoreless draw at best
