I love this money argument. You can have all the money in the world and if I am in charge that team won’t win.

Spending doesn’t insure success. It helps as you have a better quality of player.

i never said it insured success but it obviously helps if you can afford to buy players who you think will improve your team i.e. VVD .
I doubt anyone thinks just having money will make a top team as that has more to do with the players , tactics and general "atmosphere" all gelling to make a complete unit.

 

Maybe Koeman just needed more time ;-)
