That is my guess too. But really it could be anything between Maya as part of a back four, or PEH at wing-back and a two-man midfield (5-2-3), or Djenepo at wing-back and a three-man midfield. I'd suggest Maya is the most likely, because it means the least disruption from the last game. And I'd suggest that Djenepo is the least likely, because I'd have expected Ings to play in that case. Would seem to be a lack of attacking threat in that side, if Djenepo is playing in a deeper role.
I thought Ralph was a bit subdued at the press conference. After all that sailing maybe he has cabin fever?
I’m sure I’m not the only one that finds it weird that Bertrand and Valery aren’t getting picked at the moment. They’re easily our best fullbacks, and apparently Bertrand is our only LB.
I'm happy that we've gone back to one striker. That was my main gripe up until now, so at least Ralph listened to me on that one.
4-0 up at half time! Vestergaard, Boufal, Djenepo and Guevara. Then bring on a full back or 2. Sorted
Ralph seems to have this thing whereby he thinks a CB will do as a full back. We look so limited when we don't have a proper full back to support the likes of Boufal/Djenepo going forward.
Not for the first time, Sheffield United fields a starting lineup where all 11 are from the UK or Ireland.
