Winless Stoke City welcome back forward Nick Powell, who has been out since picking up a knock on the opening day. Goalkeeper Jack Butland may be recalled by the Championship's bottom side after missing the past two league matches. Bristol City striker Benik Afobe is not eligible to play against his parent club with Senegalese Famara Diedhiou in line to replace the loanee. Midfielder Adam Nagy will be assessed after returning from an ankle injury for Hungary on international duty. Match facts Stoke City have not lost consecutive league games against Bristol City since October 1959. don't have a toolbar to highlight various bits ..and my background screen is green! However … some interesting fixtures this weekend Fulham v WBA Charlton v Brum Swansea v Florest I would settle for 3 draws! but looking like 3 home wins ….. No Afobe so...……….. Fammy and Weimann and Semenyo? C O D gets a start? who will be fit enough for a back 3? or 4? with 2 weeks to train hopefully will have a trick or 2 in the bag!
A potentially dangerous game straight after the international break. Previous form this early in the season can be irrelevant after a break.
Funnily enough OS, I was thinking of you earlier when I looked at the league table, and more specifically those comments of yours on why anyone would think Swansea would be above Cardiff this season........
A start for Williams is interesting? I guess LJ is hoping that Williams has a point to prove to Stoke as his former club.
or could be to mentor moore? keep him focus'd looks a bit narrow our line up …. maybe when we get to be 2 down will bring on some wide players and win 6-2
Nice 3 points lads and I wait to hear why Moore was replaced so early and it's probably an Injury. Playing against 10 men for most of the match meant Stoke probably parked all the buses but in the end we prevailed. Onward and upward boys.
