    I actually watched that film the night before I was due to meet Wigan Casino founder/DJ Russ Winstanley, to discuss a deal to produce a Wigan Casino clothing range. The following lunchtime, we were sat in a boozer in Wigan and everything was going fine, until I mentioned that I'd watched it the night before. Turns out he absolutely hated it, went in to a massive rant about how inaccurate it was and that it was all about the music, not the drugs. Bad move.

    Having been there myself I can categorically state is was about the music which where entwined with the drugs at the time to enhance ones longevity and alleged dancing performance ... FACT

    I did do the deal and it wasn’t very popular, in fact pretty much all my customers came up with a reason to not buy it.

    Lancashire customers objected to it saying Wigan on the label (other than in Wigan), Yorkshire customers objected to it having a red rose in the logo, Midlands customers are largely Asian and had no idea what Wigan Casino was, ASOS loved the product, but thought that pretty much all of their 18-24 target market wouldn't get it. We actually did better with it outside the UK, where there's a niche market that knows the history and had none of the hang-ups, but there wasn't enough of them and we binned it after eighteen months.

    Not sure about this one, hopefully 2-1, but can see another draw coming and Marshall having a stormer.

    I would have had Henriksen in the squad, but obviously McCann wants to teach him a lesson, like a few of our previous managers have done with other players. We shall see.
