Your posts are just as much bollox as Boris. This story is on BBC front page, main headline on their Europe page.

From what I have read...pensions here are based on your salary from the last couple of years you work, and Macron wants to change that to base your pension on your average salary from your entire working life. It doesn't take much to provoke a strike/a bit of social unrest here so this won't be the last of it. Similar strikes from SNCF (another train company) a week on Tuesday.
THE REMOANER BBC!!!!!! The same BBC that has given countless airtime to all manner of brainless gammonites in the name of balance.
But have you seen the otter doing The Scream.... I certainly clicked on it before some story about the French protesting (again)
If you're representative of left-leaning tolerance and enlightenment, WWR, then I'll take my chances with Jim Davidson.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for balance where it’s warranted but they take it too far when they bring on some flat Earth nutter to argue against a climate change scientist for fear of appearing biased just as they’ll wheel out Tim Brexitspoon to shout about some totally illogical Brexit wins.
No idea where I live in the Old Languedoc they may do 3 days at best and not sure my neighbours know what pensions are But my main neighbour Jackie and his wife both retired at 50 The goat lady and her flock seem to work 8 Things aren’t comparable at all as most work is done by 10 here, lunch is still 2 hours and everyone goes to sleep in the afternoon. French modern city life I have no real idea as I live in a very remote area.
I have just been told it’s still ongoing in Béziers I think it’s a time out but it will kick off soon remember most of France was still on holiday until last week
Good point. I'll look for them tomorrow. I live near Nation (big square that they like to protest in) so usually have my area swamped with Gendarmarie when protests happen.
Ian Duncan Smith has revealed that he asked the people who produced the farcical #Yellowhammer report if they had spoken to the Cheif of the Port of Calais during the process. Their response: We were not asked to. I think that’s all we need to know.
