    I posted a quick thread after he passed because he was a true, passionate Geordie. I'll bust my bo**ocks in memory of him, but i'll do it mainly in the knowledge that i've made an effort to make sure other people don't have to suffer the same. HWTL

    Just hope the weather isn't too bad for all of you that are either running in the race or going to support the people that are.

    It's very much a people occasion and everybody plays a part and deserves a pat on the back.

    I'll drag myself over the line I hope! I'm lucky that i've got an amazing family and a brilliant wife, but my old man introduced me to his greatest passion and it's one that has been passed on to me. He was a true NUFC fan in every sense of the word, and whether I take 3 days to complete the run, i'll do it, otherwise he'd be giving me as much grief as he used to give Shola!

    I'm running my 2nd GNR in aid of the British Red Cross. My training this year has suffered badly due to injuries and a weeks all inclusive holiday last week but hey ho, I'll make sure I get myself over the line for my charity.
