The club would be mad not to employ him in some capacity - a club legend, great man and still living in the area.
I have to say inviting DM is a very good move by the club, they do seem to be starting to do one or two things which bordering on being sensible,
It's easy to forget the players often have stuff going on off the pitch... please log in to view this image
'I started to read social media comments more closely' Sam Allardyce is damning about social media comments and the effect it had on him, his family and his players in his autobiography. Sam the tough guy. Those that post ****e about our club and its players should think on. ( thanks to Alan Partridge) David Meyler was a top player for Hull City on the pitch and a top bloke for the club off it. Would be nice to show a bit of class tomorrow and chant his name. It means a lot.
100% agree. Although it would surely be better done at HT, rather than 'be in your seats (!) 15 to 20 mins before K.O.'!!
You know, I hadn’t realised that, I only saw the announcement and assumed HT. they’ll be doing it to an empty stadium then, FFS. How embarrassing - David deserves better. How come our club can take a good idea and then implement it so badly you wonder why they bothered. Time and time again.
I just listened to a Q&A on Youtube that David Meyler did, not much new, but he did said he has accepted a coaching role to be announced shortly.
