We go to the Merseyside for a lunchtime date with LFC.

Newcastle return to Premier League action after the international break when they travel to Liverpool on Saturday.

It's a 12.30pm start at Anfield for live transmission on BT Sport and the away section is sold out. NUFC: Only DeAndre Yedlin looks to have a chance of returning to the squad for this game, with the rest of United's crocked contingent - messrs Carroll, Gayle, Ritchie, Lejeune and Saint-Maximin - still unavailable.

Martin Dubravka, Emil Krafth, Fabian Schar and Miguel Almiron will return following international duty, but there was no national service for Christian Atsu, Paul Dummett, Yoshinori Muto, Jetro Willems or Ciaran Clark.

    LFC:
Naby Keita may return from injury as the Reds look for their tenth successive Premier League home victory since a 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Anfield in January.
That was their second and final failure to win at home last season, following on from a 0-0 draw with Manchester City the previous October.
Klopp's side last lost at Anfield in the PL in April 2017, beaten 1-2 by Crystal Palace, since when they have won 32 times and drawn the other ten. Gulp.

    Referee: Andre Marriner (West Midlands).

Marriner's last outing in a game involving Newcastle was the 2-3 home loss to Liverpool in May, favouring the Reds with some questionable decisions - especially the crucial late free-kick that led to Divock Origi's winner.

That was the fifth time we'd had the pleasure of his company that season; the previous four failing to harvest a single goal and just a solitary point: Palace away (drew 0-0), Brighton home (lost 0-1), Manchester United home (lost 0-2) and Spurs away (lost 0-1).Latest PL fixtures:Sat 14.09.2019:Liverpool v Newcastle (12.30pm) BT

Whatever happened to the new No Chance, Jak, and his award winning MD threads?

Probably best if he copies them - the only line he added he ****ed up - where the **** is The Merseyside?

Anyway I think we could spring a surprise in this one. I cant tell you what it will be though or it wouldn’t be a surprise then.

our last 6 fixtures read like this (oldest first)

    drew
    lost
    lost
    drew
    lost
    lost

So i'm going for a drew again! It's probably the best we can hope for.

    2-2

Not sure why most of your post is in bold like Chippy, can you explain or have you just copied someone else's mistake?

I see this ending up 5-1 or 6-1. Indeed the one might be a bit pie in the sky.

On paper and on results (especially at Anfeld), we should win this. However, it's a funny old game <laugh>

I asked Dolph Ludgren in Rocky 4 how we'd go in this game, and this was his reply:

    22/1?
You can get 30/1 on us at Betvictor, I reckon we are going to sneak a 1-2 win. Not only that but we will come from behind. Alternatively we will get absolutely smashed!!

I think a few fans have fell for our lucky away win vs Tottenham and think because of that we can get something !!! im sorry but that game was once a season result and was largely down to Tottenham missing chances and playing poorly … Liverpool have the player to cut us open like a hot knife through butter.. I keep seeing our fans predicting wins or draws week in week out … we are **** !! fair enough support on the day but be realistic … were relegation fodder they just won the champions league
