The proroguing bit is another issue. I'm going to stick my neck out and say, when the appeal goes to the Supreme Court next week, which will also hear Gina Miller's claim, the court will find for the government. That's because, unless government does something really egregious, unelected courts are always reluctant to interfere with elected governments (which the Tory government is, despite Boris not being elected personally) Boris may resign anyway, rather than go for an extension. Then if no one else can form a government, there is a GE. If all the opposition parties can back one person (probably not Corbyn) I suppose a second referendum could be called, but that would be incredibly divisive in my view. PS I see Corbyn is ruling out a second referendum before a GE
