That is one thing I deffo don't get. Same with some of the 3 year contract extensions for some of our older defenders. I'd love to know why....
Hopefully those on long term contracts aren't being paid too much or can be sold on if we did go down.
The other thing I don't get is how QSF can arrive with a full back up team - don't they have jobs already, presumably with a notice period? I presume Javi's team get a nice payoff too? Expensive caper - how to I get a job as a football coach?
So much to catch up on after only a week away In Javi's first season he didn't save us from relegation but his appointment prevented Siva from getting us relegated out of spite over Everton, interesting that Richalison did not do a thing for Watford after Evertons approach and Doucore has also done little since then, sheer coincidence or someones influence Last season started brilliantly but was fading until the Cup Run, the worst thing that happened was winning the semi final because it all fell apart after that, then this season total disaster I do believe that if we had got the point we deserved at Everton, matched Wet Ham's substitutions ie Sarr and Wellbeck and got at least a point and then not been robbed at Newcastle Javi would still be the hero As far as sacking managers why aren't Chelsea, West Ham, Man United, Southampton, Everton and even Man City criticed four their turnover of Managers
I guess they have been out of a job like Flores - most seem to be people he has always worked with . Suspect there was some sort of pay off but not that high you 'd think .
