Fatboy Slim set to play an intimate gig at the Adelphi in October. Tickets went on sale earlier tonight and have already sold out.
Doesn’t he hold the world record for largest gig ever? 2 million people on a beach - maybe Brighton? Or something like that, my memory is fading lol
I'm guilty of Googling, but apparently Rod Stewart 'had' three and a half million at Copacabana in 1994. That's loads. I wonder how many we'd get if we made football free like the air we breathe.
Been on the Copacabana, ****ing tide must have been a long way out the day that Rod Stewart was there. He'd have been better off doing it at Filey when the tide is out, massive flat expanse of sand there.
For footballing reasons, although when I was there I got told Barry Manilow had done a gig there in a Hull FC shirt and he welcomed onstage Tim Wilby and Paul Prendiville.
I got told it was Tim Wilby and Paul Eastwood. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Evening with Shaun Ryder there soon too He’ll be ‘talking’ but there’s a band supporting him (the Barrett’s)
It's not something I would have looked at. (I don't do twitter much at all) but I had a squint after reading your post, and it's well worth a read isn't it. He's clearly proud of Hull and seems a good laugh too. Cheers for the heads up. I liked this one.
