Stranger things have happened in football but I don't believe this is true. I hope we stick with Ross and he gets the money to spend.
I've said on another thread that I'd like JR to stay and see what he can do with better quality players but like always time will tell.
This must be bull but when the new owners come in I reckon Ross will be on a remit to get into the top 2 asap and if he can't I believe they would look to get someone else in.
I hope JR will be given a chance but these investors will want success and if we do not look like getting promotion this season I think he will be out
I don't believe (but could be wrong) Donald would sell the club if they were thinking of sacking the manager a few games into the season Getting a DoF in? Maybe. Revamping the scouting network? I bloody hope so.
If they could bring the right guy in I have no problem with this as I’m still unconvinced by JR tactically. Might be harsh but if we could swop him tomorrow for Big Sam for instance would you?
Are you lot on drugs ? I wouldn't let him manage a quiet pram , he's done nothing but bore me and thousands of others, if we get a chance to watch football again ditch the dour useless bore.
As much as I think Allardyce is a top manager I wouldn't want him, the owners will be doing everything clean and above board and Sam would want to be doing under the table deals and risking our reputation. Good manager but not suited to the project, I think Ross is.
FOR ME IF THEY WANT TO CHANGE THEY WILL, IF A CRACKING MANAGER COMES IN SO BE IT, WHO AM I TO DOUBT THEIR CASH AND INTENT. ALL I WANT IS A SUCCESSFUL CLUB THE QUICKER THE BETTER
Given how many "Top" managers would be willing to manage a club in the 3rd tier of English football, I would be very surprised. But......I remember Smug's heads up on this the other day and he did say that Ross will be under the microscope.
Last season was a complete rebuild, this season is the key one and he needs to prove himself. Besides, who the **** would they get in to replace him? Any proven top manager would demand a big salary. Sustainability is still the key, just cos we have mega rich owners I don't want us to throw away the work that Donald has done to get us financially stable.
