La Liga could be really interesting this year. Real Madrid were well off the pace last year, and the core of that squad is getting to be quite old...even the players who aren't ancient have a lot of miles on their legs. Barca should win it at a trot, but their defense is fairly thin with Umtiti's knee problems, and they have failed in their quest to bring back Neymar. Real chance for Atletico to make a charge.
Micheal Owen's new book looks very interesting, it's certainly sparked a whole lot of debate around the football community already. He's not someone I've ever considered for much sympathy, but the part about snapping his hamstring when he was 19, well he's made me reconsider my harshness......a little. Just trying to imagine the mental aspect of that, damn, a defining moment, that certainly played a integral part at the latter stages of his career.

It should be a cracking game against six-time World Cup winners, Kosovo. That's what the stars mean, right?
I think if you asked most fans who they would rather have in their team, they would go for Shearer every time. I would !
