Shae Hutchinson, our goal scorer had a kidney transplant less than a year ago. Well done young man, I hope you go far on your Canary journey
The full story on Shae here: https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/oxford-2-norwich-u21s-1-wright-reaction-1-6251439 Well done indeed.
Managed to get to this game since I am exiled in Oxford. Early promising start but Oxford always looked more up for it. First goal was a peach of a slide rule pass for Shae to score - to be honest the only really bright spark of the night for us! Equaliser from an undefended drop ball which they turned into a (successful) half volley shot on goal - WATCH AND LEARN EVERYONE!!!!. Second goal was after sustained Oxford pressure left a man unmarked to slot home. No one in red really distinguished themselves and No one above them in the pecking order need consider having sleepless nights! Everything a bit flat really, I wonder a bit about this competition!
Max started for England U21 with Godfrey coming on for the last 10 minutes replacing #8 Gibbs-White so I'm guessing as a defensive midfielder. The boys won 3-2 . Euro 2021 qualifiers: Turkey U21 2-3 England U21 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49614444
Adshed scored for England U19s against Greece midweek in a 3-1 win. https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/norwich-midfielder-adshead-england-u19-debut-1-6255511
Real shame, he had a superbly assured game up until he got crocked making a goal saving clearance. Hope it's not too serious
Might be nothing in it, but Famewo is completely absent from the U23s squad tonight. I wonder if he's been called up to the first team as CB cover for a few weeks.
Our under 23s play Stoke Under 23s at Colney this evening. Unfortunately, I'm not able to get there, but I'll try to give score updates.
