Have to say both goals are things of beauty........lovely free flowing football, one touch pass and move and sublime finishes.....
Loft For Words review.... Hugill's double seals second away win in Sheffield - Report Sunday, 1st Sep 2019 23:33 by Lee McAlpine QPR, just five away wins all of last season and three the season before that, made it two from three road trips to start the 2019/20 season at Sheff Wed on Saturday - Lee McAlpine was there for LFW. There was a definite feeling of deja vu as our train arrived in Sheffield on Saturday for my first game since we enjoyed a last day victory at Wednesday in May. So much has changed since Big Smith's ludicrous last-minute volleyed winner stopped referee Davies' scandalous effort to stop us winning. We now have virtually a whole new team, as well as a new second 11, who both look capable of matching anyone- well they did before Wednesday night’s poor effort against Portsmouth. Nice report. I really hope Warbs continues with three at the back, wing backs and a holding midfielder, with Chair and Eze, plus Hugill and Wells up top. Looks to have created a very good side and he really must resist the urge to tinker imo.
I'm back from my brief eight night stay in Ibiza, I followed the game on the internet and it was a great unexpected win. I really didn't expect this squad to go away from home and make Wednesday look ordinary. I thought that they were one of the favourites to go straight up. Only one shot on goal apparentley and that was from a cheating penalty. UR'ssss
