We’ve gifted them all of their attacking opportunities.

Jan could go to LB, Dave back central and Aurier to RB. Somehow though I feel we’d be worse off.

    1-2 HT

I think we have to be brutally honest with ourselves...we've played well but not amazingly. Gifted 2 goals. Defensively we are all over the place, not clearing our lines well at all. For all their pressure we're lucky they only have 1 but what a terrible time to concede - this could now have shades of the fixture here last season.

Lamela has been completely ineffective and is on a yellow. I'd bring Alli or Lucas on for him (won't be until the 60th minute earliest as we well know). Kane needs to up his work rate. Son has been magnificent. Sissoko and Winks just aren't doing enough to shield a makeshift and rusty defense.

    Tense second half coming up!

Well, just like the Son at LWB experiment, Dave at RB isn’t working.
Let’s change it before it’s too late.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Aurier (never thought I’d type that) because Sanchez looks all at sea. Need to tighten up and stop gifting them opportunities.

    We’ve played ok though.

Rose & Sanchez have been our self-destruct buttons. Both are liabilities. Aurier and Davies ASAP please.
Lamela has played well but is always on the edge of another unnecessary foul.
The only hope is that the Gooners defensively are even worse than us!

In fact it’s even tempting to make three subs at HT because Rose and Sanchez will cost us a goal whilst Lamela is walking a thin line.

No on-pitch leader reading the riot act to the slack and stupid.

Definitely but despite giving away a few stupid freekicks, they've only had that 2 chances, the goal and the Pepe header that Rose blocked. Meanwhile we've had plenty at the other end, despite not controlling things in midfield.

Neither team are secure at the back. I would like to see us more in control in midfield

I think we've been really good, generally played Arsenal smartly and are a bit unlucky to go in with only the one goal lead.

We have had some problems though and it's a tough one to know where to go from here. Sanchez is finding it difficult at right back but our only other choice, Sissoko has also been poor. Perhaps we could swap Toby and Davinson for the second half, and I'd like to see Lo celso brought on fairly soon to help us break the press and shore us up in midfield. As good as Lamela's been, if there's one player that you don't want on a booking with 45 to play, it's him.

Aurier gets too much stick. Yes he can be rash at times, but he’s a fairly decent RB.

Also, why are Lamela and Rose booked, whilst Xhaka isn't? Ridiculous, particularly as Rose's was so soft.

Massive half time team talk and potential changes. Poch has to get this right to prevent the momentum shifting. **** this up and it could be a very poor second half.
