Just entered the late thirties, so I fluctuate a lot between old and young. For example: I'm currently suffering from a nasty bout of diarrhea and fever - my go-to medicine; cookies & cream ice cream on toast, in bed.
Always want Saints to win, especially in this game, but league games are more important. Cup games are a nice distraction, but they aren't our bread and butter.
This is what the cup is all about, the big boys come to town. It's a chance for the fans of small lower league teams to see the superstar premiership players that normally they can only watch on Match of the Day. At the same time swelling the coffers with some much needed cash, it could be the difference between life and death for a club of that size, or at least be able to pay the St Johns Ambulance crew. I'm proud that my club can help.
I couldn't give a **** about Portsmouth ****ing football club. There are far more important things to worry about at this time than a match against some lower league minnows who should have gone the way of Bury FC years ago and done us all a ****ing favour.
I can’t say the word Portsmouth without pausing turning my head and letting out a fake (sometimes) spit.
See some fans are demanding that Saints get a lot of tickets for this match...ain't going to happen...we will be given the minimum that we are required to get. The police won't want any more fans to deal with than they have to.....nor will Pompey for that matter. This isn't one of those games where a small club gets a chance to make a killing financially which will set them up for the season...Pompey will feel they have a chance and will not give any advantage away to us.
Not necessarily, if they're doing the bubble then it probably makes it easier to give us the whole stand than try to segregate it. We got bigger than a standard allocation for our last visit.
They could segregate one stand, but they don't have to sell all the tickets in it. I may be being too pessimistic though.
