Its being reported that our next home CL match against Genk will be boycotted over the ticket pricing. Ticket pricing as far as I can remember has never really been an issue with us. Perhaps its a sign of the economic times we're living in, but attendances on Tuesday weren't exciting and it looks like it will get worse for Genk. Perhaps the players could help out by subsidising the prices from their wages. What do you think?
I think that ticket prices are rising too much and that showed with an attendance of around 34000 against leverkusen! Hopefully roman et al will see these numbers and lower the prices back to what they were but thats wishful thinking...
Haven't missed a champions league home game since we have been in it but this year my son and myself wont go until the tickets come down to last seasons prices at least another tenner a game is a step to far
After forking out nearly 800 quid on this years season ticket, the club then charge £40 a ticket for the group stage champions league games. Just not possible for your average working class bloke.
I didn't go, but the mate I went go to games with did. Not that it will every happen but I personally feel the club should offer a package for the remaining two CL games, charge £60 and then you'll get a full house for both. I have pretty much packed in home games altogether because of the price hike let alone CL games as well.
