Good Morning. It's Thursday 29th August, and here are the Leeds Utd headlines

Bridges reveals players concern regarding burnout

Leeds players including Captain Liam Cooper expressed their concerns about burnout with Ex player Michael Bridges during their recent trip to Australia.

The 5m David O'Leary signing finished his career in Australia playing for the Lambton Jaffas!!!

Speaking to the press, the 41yo shared:-

"I was speaking to a few of players, (including) Liam Cooper the captain... they just felt after Christmas they'd almost run out of energy, the way they'd been playing football,"

"It's not one game a week, some of the boys are playing three a week. They just felt they didn't have enough rest and didn't feel quite right going into games.

"And I think Bielsa's learned a lot from last season and the boys will be a lot fitter and fresher this year.

"The style of play, like I say, is absolutely superb to watch. And they're running teams into the ground, not only with the ball but without the ball, they close them down, there's a high press and I think that it all comes down to the work that is done off the park and keeping the boys as fresh as possible to play this brand of football."

    Butland celebrates historic win

Stoke and England Goal keeper Jack Butland has angered Leeds fans on social media (which isn't hard to do). The 20m rated player took to twitter to celebrate their historic win against Leeds.

Although his reaction of beating a team that had made eight changes from the starting XI that had destroyed them 3-0 days before were slightly exaggerated, it's reassuring that other teams are once again respectful of our club.

When will Nketiah get his chance?

We have all seen the predatory instincts of Eddie Nketiah. It's not just his lightening pace or his natural ability to find the back of the net, but the positions he gets himself into would scare most teams in the Premiership. Bearing this in mind, is it not time for Bielsa to give him proper first team action?

Surpringly Nketiahs odd's of being top goal scorer for the Championship have fallen from 20/1 to 25/1.
As soon as Bielsa finds a starting position for the 19yo, watch these odds tumble...

    Whelan in awe of Dallas

Noel Whelan has been speaking to the press about the transformation of Stuart Dallas. The 28yo has gone from occasional substitute to 'must start' since his transformation to wing back.

“He was my man of the match by a long stretch against Stoke last weekend,” “His energy levels, fitness, creativity were all outstanding and he got a goal as well.

“There are so many wingers converted to wing-backs these days. Defending is secondary for them. But Dallas’ defending has come on leaps and bounds. He is no longer vulnerable when facing an attacker, as his body positioning is so much better.

“He is a player transformed. He looks more confident and far more effective than he did when he was just an attacking player.”

What happens when Ayling is fit again? What would you do?

Good Morning to Matt and co from a cool sunny Bardsey
Butland can have is rant but he is not a great keeperand if I were Stoke i would snap any clubs hands off if they offered anything at all
Dallas deserves to do well he never causes a moments bother and is a model professional
Glad to see Bolton have been saved from the axe will Parkinson go back now
Boyer is favourite for the town job it won't be the first time Town have gone for a Charlton manager
I think we should try and buy White and Eddie before they become too expensive
I am disappointed with the Nevilles with all there money they could have saved their mum been made redundant and saved the club from extinction making an excuse that they already have money in Salford so open a nominee account for Mum
Finally if Eddies odds have gone out from 20/1 to 25/1 it means money is not coming in for him

Nketiah looks a better option than Bamford from what I have seen of him. However, Bamford is doing great at the moment and to take him out now would really piss him off and maybe affect his confidence and willingness going forward. Bamford, at the moment, deserves to keep his place.

Nketiah has to wait for his chance and when it comes he has to grasp it with both hands. It's fantastic for the club to have this problem. It can only improve performance.

I'm not sure we should potentially upset the team balance by shoehorning both players in. Especially whilst the going is good.

Or you can go each way.

The odds would shorten to 5/1 for Eddie to be one of the top 4 goal scorers in the Championship.

The Cambridge team had a lot of changes, so not a high standard team.
I would expect Swansea reserves to be much better than Cambridge reserves.Dont worry, will spank them on Sat.

Mike the Nevilles cannot as you say do anything for Bury due to FIFA rules as you say, andnyes they could have found a way if they really wanted to. Gary and David Beckham were sent to Bury on loan I believe before getting into Fergusons Scum squad and as we know Nevil Neville was a Director....... but he was accused of being a ***** nonce and sexually assaulting a woman if I remember and Bury refused to fight his corner. I believe the family had a bit of a fall out with the club and the boys thought these accusations brought about the death of their dad?

    Wow! Didn't know that!

I don't know how all this works, but if he was a *****, doesn't that mean that there is a very good chance that he interfered with his own kids too, or offered them up to his 'chums'? (Which if true would set them up as potential *****s themselves, if you believe the excuses used by convicted *****s).

    Yuck!

Nev Neville got caught up in the football nonce net that swept up ex coaches in the North West from Crewe to man City and beyond. Neville was cleared completely but then a woman came forward accused him of rape or sexual assault (Cant remember details) Again he was cleared but through both investigations Bury stayed silent even though the bloke had dedicated many years to keeping the club afloat. He died not long after so if I were Tracy, Phil and Gary I too would tell the club to do one.
