" their Premier League arrogance ". My, my, we are only a handful of games into the season and your jealousy and inferiority complex leaps off the page.

This arrogance you refer to is merely a figment of your imagination, but if it DID exist, then The Swans' had much to be " arrogant " about, being many people's second favourite team.

Cardiff, on the other hand …..

There are at least two things that Cardiff does not have concerning a two bit encampment near Llanelli; jealousy and inferiority complex.

Who on earth would have swansea town as their 2nd club?

Oh yes of course the hundreds of Leeds, Man U and Liverpool fans living in the Uplands!

Another barmy day in this crazy league. swansea sneaked an unlikely win with a scrappy goal after Leeds dominated.
Strange result that as well as several others.

Leeds at home had the Lions share of possession but could do nothing with it and that shows just how good we are this season.....Like most fans i thought we would struggle this season but i'm happy to concede i and others were wrong and Cooper and his coaching staff have been a revolution that the last game we lost at home was against Man City in the cup and that was debatable. Cooper has not lost a game yet and looks the real deal and beating Leeds on their home patch shows we have a good top team that fears nobody....We Jacks can't ask for more TBH.....

Why is that lurk a lot?
An honest opinion and very valid. What these boards should be about.
Odd really, given Dai posted it. <laugh>

A very good result for your boys by the way. A long way to go, but I'd happily swap positions with you as it stands.
January will be a worrying time for you though. All those new assets for the yanks to strip. <ok>

Amazing start to the season, unexpected but worthy of praise. New manager is on a roll, hope he goes all the way with the Swans, and we want to come to, but we have a tired manager now sadly! Hope Newport County do it also, another smart young manager! Ours is tired! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Having observed the comments about us on here then would I be wrong in saying Hilts for example would be complimentary regarding Dai's post ? I don't think so and why should he , he dislikes us and feeling is reciprocated by many on both sides .I'm sure you would like to swop league positions and possibly not just positions but squads and managers with it.
I have a philosophy regarding football, what will be will be , players come players go as do managers something I have no control over so I won't worry in January if they stay or go , at my age its now immaterial in the scheme of things .
Regarding the yanks I want shot of them as soon as possible but theres no evidence so far of asset stripping just simple economics of cutting our cloth according to our income , the Club isn't in debt to anyone including the yanks can you say the same ?all that money for going up last season and this years parachute payments and yet your squad according some of your supporters is poor , any idea why that would be ?

Its intetesting the tunes that can be played to suit the stance.
Yes, you will find posters you can quote to support your view.
Not sure I'd want to swap managers or squads, and anyone would like to swap league positions with the team top of the table, a no brainer.

As to my use of the term asset stripping, i used it as its one of the most used phrases by the members of your board.
I know its simple economics, something ive commented on a number of time on threads on your board. When in the prem, you had the highest %age of income spent on salaries. You also had the highest %age of income that was TV revenue. Of all relegated clubs, that meant you were always going to be the hardest hit. My apologies for the use of the vernacular of your board. Perhaps saying that the yanks will sell any rising stars they can in January to further balance the books would have been more correct.

As for our position. Our journey to being debt free is well documented as tan converts debt into equity. The rate of conversion is constrained by malaysian law (strange, but true).
No other debt and all bills paid in full as they always have been (can you say the same?:emoticon-0138-think theres always some history that can be dragged up).
As for the squad, tan has been more circumspect since being burned by Malky and Ole which is fine by me. We are lacking in CM which was always the concern on the summer, but we'll play the hand that is dealt.
Its all you can do in life.

" No other debt and all bills paid in full as they always have been ".

Just choked on my schnitzel reading this crap.
    Selective memory some bloobs have.
Remember those halcyon days when the IRS were issuing Cardiff with winding up orders almost every week for non payment of taxes ?
Paid the Sala transfer fee then, eh ? I must have missed that.

The championship this season has started in a way that suggests there will be one or two surprises. I'm delighted that my somewhat challenged suggestion that Charlton would do well has given my usual rubbish predictions a certain amount of credibilty. Leeds look like they are going to blow hot and cold again but that doesn't take away from a good result by the Swans. In the case of our cousins, I still maintain that they are reaping the benefits of the Martinez years when the ethos of the club was established. The rest of the championship looks like it will be the moving feast that it normally is.

We did have IRS bills outstanding, but as I said, all paid up in full, am I wrong?
I didnt say we didnt have debts, just that they were paid up in full. Can your club say the same?

As for Sala, still with the lawyers as has been extensively debated on other threads. Once ownership has been determined, the bill, if it legally exists, will be settled. Choo and dalman have always said as much.
